Short-Term Respite
Community Care TASMANIA’s purpose-built respite centre based in Launceston provides up to 14 days of respite care. This respite centre is designed to give family carers a short break. We understand that being a carer to a loved one can be difficult and tiring at times, so Community Care TASMANIA wants to support carers in any capacity possible.

Our service has been intentionally created as a small, six-bed environment to ensure every guest receives the attention, respect, and tailored support they deserve. At Community Care TASMANIA we focus on joyful care.

Funding for Overnight Support
Support at Home
Support at Home is the Australian Government’s most comprehensive in-home aged care program. It provides older Australians with a personalised support budget, clearer pricing, and more flexible care options to help them live independently at home for longer.
NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme provides personalised funding for people with disabilities, and as a provider we deliver tailored support from personal care to community access and Allied Health to help participants build independence and achieve their goals with choice and control.
Self-Funded
We provide flexible fee for service support to Tasmanians who are self funded, waiting for funding, or ineligible for government programs, offering straightforward onboarding and personalised short or long term assistance.
