Additional Funding Programs

There are a number of ways that you can access support from Community Care TASMANIA. Contact one of our local, Launceston based team to chat about your options for funding support.

NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian Government program that funds support for people with disabilities to build independence and achieve their goals. It provides personalised plans for services such as personal care, community access, Allied Health, and Assistive Technology, promoting choice, control, and participant-centred practices.

Tasmanian HACC Program

The Tasmanian Home and Community Care (TAS HACC) program funds community services for Tasmanians under 65 years of age (or under 50 for First Nations peoples), and their carers, to live comfortably in their own home if their ability to live independently is impacted by:

  • A health event
  • Living with an ongoing health condition that needs ongoing support and does not meet the eligibility criteria for the NDIS

Self- Funded Clients

Community Care Tasmania offers fee-for-service support to clients across Tasmania. The service assists those unable or ineligible to access, awaiting access, or funded through other means- including insurance or self-funded arrangements. With a simple onboarding process and minimal paperwork, it’s available to all Tasmanians needing short- or long-term assistance.
