Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)

The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) helps older Australians stay independent and safe at home and in their communities. It provides entry-level support such as cleaning, meals, transport, personal care, and social activities. Managed through My Aged Care, CHSP promotes wellbeing, independence, and social connection and often serves as a first step to higher-level aged care like the Support at Home program.

Community Care TASMANIA can also assist you in understanding your eligibility, organising your My Aged Care registration, as well as navigating CHSP and Support at Home Differences.
